Dirndl Sewing – Full-Day Workshop
✂️ Your Dirndl – Made by You
In this course, you will sew your very own Dirndl step by step – perfectly tailored to your body and personal style.
We begin with a sample bodice, which we will precisely adjust to your measurements during a fitting session. Afterwards, you will create your Dirndl using your chosen fabric.
Whether you prefer piping, a button placket or zipper, with or without embroidery – the design is entirely up to you.
You will choose from my Dirndl patterns (your selected pattern will be provided free of charge after booking). The available designs can be found in the images shown here.
🧵 Example Schedule (6 sessions)
Day 1: Sew the sample bodice, fitting & pattern adjustments
Day 2: Sew the bodice using your final fabric
Day 3: Sew the bodice lining & assemble with outer fabric
Day 4: Add pockets & create skirt pleats
Day 5: Assemble the dirndl & add closure (buttons or zipper)
Day 6: Sew the apron
This schedule serves as a guideline – you can work at your own pace.
🪡 What to Expect
- No need to bring your own sewing machine – you will work with high-quality Pfaff machines
- A wide selection of fabrics from Hemmers Itex to choose from
(you are also welcome to bring your own fabrics) - Personal guidance & individual support throughout the entire workshop
- The workshop takes place in my studio
(please bring your basic sewing tools – if anything is missing, you can use replacements from my studio)
⏱️ Flexibility
The schedule is flexible:
You can book as many sessions as you like and work at your own pace. I will support you individually throughout your entire sewing journey and will be available to you during the workshop sessions.
💬 Organization
After booking, you will be added to a WhatsApp group with all participants.
We will use this group to share further details and coordinate everything. By completing your booking, you agree to this.
If you would like to join together with a friend, simply book the workshop twice. This will fill the available spots and create a small, cozy group sewing session for the three of you.
The green dirndl shown is the WANDA pattern.
